Paul has 22 years of experience in the fields of transportation engineering and planning. He is actively involved in research with the TCRP and NCHRP programs, with a particular focus on the areas of transit capacity and quality of service, performance measurement, and travel reliability. Paul has lived in Europe for several years and has worked on projects in the U.S., Canada, and Australia, which has exposed him to a wide range of ways of addressing difficult transportation problems. Paul applies his expertise to a variety of practical projects, including transit service planning, long-range transportation planning, and traffic impact analysis for public and private clients. Paul has been an instructor for university-level courses and a National Transit Institute short course, and is regularly invited to present at conferences, workshops, and other venues.
