Senior Principal Engineer
Brandon Nevers is a Senior Principal Engineer in KAI’s Reston, Virginia and Washington, DC offices. He has 19 years of experience in multimodal transportation planning and operations, congestion management, simulation, traffic design, parking, and applied research. He has conducted and led traffic operations analysis and simulation studies, multimodal improvement plans, intersection design/feasibility studies, neighborhood plans, and corridor studies for local, state, and federal agencies. Brandon has served as a principal investigator and senior researcher for projects in the NCHRP, FHWA, and SHRP 2 research programs in the areas of travel time reliability and integrated modeling. He is a member of TRB’s Operational Effects of Geometrics committee, co-chair of TRB’s Intersection Joint Subcommittee, and Secretary of TRB’s Signalized Intersection Subcommittee to the Highway Capacity Committee.
