Senior Engineer

Pmj Pete has participated in a variety of traffic engineering and planning projects across the US. He has developed signal timing plans for over 125 intersections and designed, analyzed, or peer-reviewed roundabout concepts for over 75 intersections in nine states. Pete also has experience with roadway and transit planning, corridor studies, and transportation impact analysis. He is a member of TRB’s Geometric Design Committee, and has taught short courses on applied roundabout design and performance-based design. Pete has also served as a lead researcher for NCHRP projects related to ramp and interchange spacing (Report 687) and the evaluation of roundabout corridors (Report 772), and developed four alternative intersection guidebooks for FHWA.
