Site Planning & Design/ Access & Site Circulation Studies
KAI routinely assists development teams and communities as they create and review site plans to incorporate optimum multimodal access and connectivity. KAI's planning and design professionals have expertise in site and circulation planning, urban design, and lot layout. We work collaboratively with project owners, architects, engineers, planners, review agency staff, and communities to identify innovative transportation solutions for projects, ranging from the development of a single building to comprehensive campus master plans and subarea studies. These solutions carefully consider the implications of access location and configuration, connectivity with the transportation network, circulation and wayfinding, traffic management, and safety. In addition to supporting new development and redevelopment, our experts also conduct site/campus audits that evaluate existing conditions and provide improvement recommendations.
