KAI provides site assessment, site design, public process and approval, and design and construction services to private clients. Site investigations include a review of issues pertaining to access, circulation, off-site improvement requirements, and local policy considerations. KAI professionals are fully versed in the preparation of the many transportation engineering requirements needed for site design and the successful submission of land use applications. After the application is submitted, KAI facilitates the approval process through careful coordination with jurisdiction review staff, neighborhood associations, and other affected parties. KAI staff is often instrumental in public meetings by providing technical expertise and engaging the audience, skills which are essential in gaining project approval. Working closely with a project's civil engineer and architect, KAI offers full construction services, including preparation of design plans, bid documents, and special provisions.
